Located in Los Angeles’ thriving Koreatown district, this mixed use project introduces retail space, a hotel, and condominiums near Western Avenue.
Large Architecture took the existing design concept for a tower, re-worked the floor plate, and overlaid a new esthetic.
The massing of the building is broken into two components allowing for the tower to visually extend to the ground.
By breaking the building into two distinct elements a contextually appropriate design is achieved.
In order to emphasize a break in massing between the tower and low-rise, tiles were designed on the low-rise and window wall system on the high-rise.
